The Red Group
Prior to co-founding The Red Group, Rachel served as a marketing consultant to top marketing services providers, such as Rapp Collins Worldwide, Ogilvy and Mather, Experian, and many others. Additionally, Rachel consulted a variety of clients that The Red Group continues to service today.
Before consulting, Rachel played integral marketing roles at leading, global information companies, including Metromail, Experian and May & Speh/Acxiom.
At Experian, Rachel led a strategic marketing communications planning process that successfully integrated marketing communication activities across 13 separate sales channels/industries. She also managed the execution of these integrated communications plans for each of the division’s vertical markets, which represented nearly $500MM in revenue.
At May & Speh (now Acxiom), she implemented a strategic communications initiative, and helped take the company through an initial public offering (IPO). She also implemented an integrated branding and marketing plan for the organization, resulting in multi-tiered campaigns that leveraged public relations, direct marketing, and advertising disciplines.
Rachel is very active in the education of future marketing leaders. She speaks regularly at local colleges and universities. She is an active member of the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing (CADM), and served as a board member and marketing co-chair of the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing Educational Foundation (CADMEF). She also sat on the board of Direct from the Heart, an organization matching skilled marketers with not-for-profit agencies
Rachel holds a BA in Marketing Communications with an Advertising emphasis from Columbia College.
