Doug's current role encompasses overseeing a team of direct mail sales specialists who assist both USPS account managers and customers from Oregon to Minnesota.


Mr. King has participated in trade missions with Victoria Secret (La Poste, Paris France) and Viking Press (Deutsche Post, Frankfurt Germany), in addition to joint sales presentations with Canada Post in British Columbia and Manitoba, and Japan Post here in the United States. Mr. King still considers himself “an easy catch when I see a quality direct mail piece”.



Doug has conducted direct mail seminars for national marketing staffs of Washington Mutual, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inns, Doubletree Hotels, Oakley (the sunglass people) and other firms around the country. In addition, he is co-creator of the Return on Marketing Dollars software program patented by the United States Postal Service and demonstrated at the past three recent national DMA conferences. It is used by USPS Direct Mail Specialists to assist customers with Direct Mail campaign ROI projections and planning.

A graduate of Bethel College in St. Paul, MN., Mr. King holds Certified Direct Marketer status with the National DMA and The Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association, and has received specialized training in Integrated Marketing Communications (University of Utah), Advertising (Santa Barbara City College, Santa Barbara CA, and International Business Development Strategies (Colorado State University). Doug is a published member of the International Society of Strategic Marketing and holds certification with the Database Marketing Institute of Arlington VA.
