Vice President of Strategic Partnerships
As Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, Sandy McCray applies 20 years of direct marketing, database, and market segmentation experience to her role at Yankelovich. Sandy develops strategic partnerships with database companies, creative agencies, and consulting companies to leverage attitudinal information on behalf of their clients for increased marketing productivity.
Sandy was formerly Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Cohorts/Looking Glass, a marketing strategies company in Denver, Colorado. In that role, she spearheaded all of the company’s marketing efforts and partnership relationships, and worked in the direct marketing and retail industries.
Prior to Cohorts/Looking Glass, Sandy was Account Director at Millard Group, Inc. in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Responsibilities included development of overall marketing strategies and budgets for list sales on behalf of such clients as Time Warner, Waldenbooks, and the Smithsonian Institution. In addition, she developed and delivered presentations to prospective new clients. She specialized in business development and marketing for the publishing industry.
A well-known and respected authority in the direct marketing industry, Sandy has been a featured speaker at numerous direct marketing conferences and has also authored many articles for industry publications like Direct Magazine, 1 to 1 Magazine, DMNews, Catalog Age and Sales and Marketing Management.
Ms. McCray holds an Executive M.B.A. from the University of Colorado, a Marketing degree from East Texas State University, with High Honors, and is a graduate of the Direct Marketing Institute. Sandy resides in Golden, CO.
